About Us
The (Fantastic Elastic) Gastric Band are a live wedding and function band based in London and Suffolk, available for weddings, private parties and corporate events across the UK.A collective of supremely talented and professional musicians with a wealth of experience in lighting up parties and filling dancefloors. Brought together on the London / South East England function circuits, they have delighted audiences all over the UK with their eclectic mix of repertoire across the musical spectrum - from Funk, Soul, Disco and Jazz to Indie, Rock and Classical.First-dance requests, DJ and interlude sets are also available.

Can you learn our first dance?
Almost certainly! Send us the song when you enquire and we’ll let you know what's possible.
How long do you play for?
Our standard booking includes two one-hour sets. We’ll plan the timings with you before the wedding.
What happens between sets?
That depends entirely on your preference and event flow. We can arrange a DJ, playlist or silence if you prefer.
How much space do you need?
We usually need approximately 4x3m squared, access to power and somewhere reasonably close to unload.
Where do you travel?
We’re based in London / Suffolk and regularly play all over the UK. Tell us the venue and we’ll include any travel costs in the quote.
Are you insured?
Yes, we are Public Liability covered, and all our gear is PAT tested.

Our repertoire pool includes songs by Queen, ABBA, George Michael, Cher, The Beatles, Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Wonder and more, covering a wide range of genres including soul, funk, disco, indie, rock and pop.Below are some examples from previous functions.
